Car Angels:

The story you are about to read is not true. But it could be if you changed the names to your own and one of us….

"Helen, we need to decide what to do about that car of yours," said her husband George. "I know we've talked about this before, but it just doesn't make sense for us to keep both of our cars if we don't need them."

"You're right dear. Since your retirement, we've had a different lifestyle than before. Let's do something with it that will make a difference to someone else - not just sell it."

After praying together, George and Helen decided to give their extra car to a ministry rather than sell it. George picked up the phone and called Jon Foote with Missionaire International (308-235-7466) and asked if there were any staff or students in need of an older well-maintained car. Jon said "As a matter of fact, yes! One of our students has been praying for a car...."

George and Helen not only received a tax deduction for their donation, but they invested in a missionary family - and will have eternal rewards in that partnership.

Do YOU have a vehicle that has life left in it but don't know what to do with it? Maybe you are planning to purchase from a dealership and can trade in our worn out car instead of your own, donating your used one to us in return. If we can't use it, we'll pass it on to someone who can.
