Orientations
Orientations Provide "Heart Check"-
Missionaire requires potential missionaries to attend a one-week orientation
in Kimball. Attendees get a picture of who we are and how we operate, and
discover whether they might fit in with our style of training and ministry.
It is required for applicants, but it is also great for those who just want
to find out more about missionary aviation in general.
One attendee said, "I believe that what God was doing with the missionary
aviation possibility was, like you did with us, a 'heart check.' First, 'Are
you willing to go and serve?' and second but more importantly, 'Are you willing
to not go and serve?' It's about following God's desires for us, not our own.
It's about having an attitude of service in our 'Jerusalem' first, then 'Judea
and Samaria.' "
Missionaire has Orientation Weeks scheduled for the following dates:
Summer 2007
A Missionaire Orientation was held at the Tompkinsville Airport August 5th through the 8th. The first session was open to area pastors and lay people, to acquaint them with our ministry.
