A Unique Blend of Service, Training,
and Mission Support

Missionaire International is a nonprofit, interdenominational ministry designed to support the work of Christian missions and missionaries throughout the world. Missionaire International's purpose is to supply other mission organizations with suitable aircraft for use in their ministry of spreading the gospel of Christ, and to train people for a career in missionary aviation. Activities include the locating and rebuilding of aircraft by licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics, placement of aircraft with mission organizations demonstrating a need for such, flight training, maintenance apprenticeship training, practical experience for new mechanics, as well as Bible course work, missions preparation classes, and support raising.

Our Vision

The vision of Missionaire International is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by means of aviation. We are a non-profit, interdenominational ministry with a three-faceted purpose:

                       1. Locate, restore, and supply Christian organizations with suitable aircraft
                       2. Provide operational services of aircraft in unreached areas of the world
                       3. Train people to become missionary aviators and place them into service

Our Philosophy:

Blending Service, Training, and Support of Mission Work Through our ministry, we blend service, training, and support of mission work throughout the world. Aviation apprentices and licensed mechanics work side by side with experienced A & P's, learning through a hands-on approach at an active aircraft maintenance repair shop. In this process, trainees are directly involved in service by restoring, repairing or maintaining aircraft that will be used for Christian mission work.

This program is designed to prepare a person for placement as a missionary pilot/mechanic. Missionaire takes people with or without aviation training, and provides what is necessary for them to attain their goal of serving on the mission field. There is much more to becoming a missionary pilot/mechanic than flying and fixing aircraft, and we have developed this program to include all that is needed to become an effective missionary aviator.

During the first year of training, the student will build a monthly support team and determine where in the world the Lord is leading him/her to serve. Then the student can be trained specifically for service in that region of the world.

Our program takes a person with a passion to reach this world for Christ, and provides the training and preparation needed for service as a missionary aviator. But our most important goal is to cultivate a servant's heart for missions, which is much more than taking classes, gaining aviation experience, and raising support.
