Raising Support
Our support raising training begins with "Support
Raising God's Way," using 2 Corinthians 8:10-24 as a guide. From the example
of Paul, we find five "P's" of fundraising:
Pressure - Don't apply
pressure to people to get them to give. Paul encourages the people to take
time to consider whether to give.
Purpose - Is there a good Biblical purpose for the needed money?
Protection - Is there accountability for how the money is used? Public - Reporting how the money was used, "taking precaution that no one should discredit us in our administration of this generous gift," is essential.
Proven People - Are the people that handle the money of proven character, tested and having integrity? With these basic guidelines, we are able to help you develop your prospect support list and make the contacts and follow-up.

A Few Things You Should Know...
100% of your budgeted support goes to you while you serve at Missionaire.
If the Lord leads you to serve with another mission organization, Missionaire
will direct any remaining funds to that organization when you go. Missionaire
has no set monthly amount of support that you need to raise before you begin
serving the Lord here. (For those going overseas, an adequate amount of support
must be in place before leaving for assignment.) The amount you need to raise
is based on your individual needs.
